Since 2015, CLEO has collaborated with the United States National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA), providing students with the opportunity to do clinical research on diverse fields, such as:

  • Hospital infection control;
  • Antibiotic prescribing practices;
  • Antibiotic resistance; and
  • Health professionals’ knowledge and opinions of vaccinations.

Summer internships last from one to three months (June – August), depending on the field of choice and availability. Interns have the opportunity to work closely with experts in infection prevention, biostatistics and public health, to gain knowledge and experience in the research sector. In addition, interns are given the opportunity to participate in CLEO weekly meetings, as well as symposia and seminars.
