Internships

Since 2015 and in collaboration with the United States National Hellenic Student Association (NHSA), CLEO has been offering university students the opportunity to do clinical research in a number of topics, including:

  • Control of hospital infections
  • Antibiotic resistance
  • Antibiotic prescribing practices, and
  • Healthcare workers’ knowledge and perceptions around vaccination.

Summer internships last from one to three months, usually during the summer months of June – August, depending on availability. Interns have the opportunity to work closely with experts in infection prevention, biostatistics and public health and gain experience in conducting research. In addition, interns are given the opportunity to participate in CLEO weekly meetings, as well as symposia and seminars.
