Maritina Pitsaki

Maria-Christina (Maritina) Pitsaki joins the CLEO team as a specialist in Communication and Public Relations, bringing a strong foundation in research promotion and public image management. She is a graduate of Deree - The American College of Greece with a Bachelor of Arts (BA Hons) degree in Communication (Open University Validated), where she focused on courses related to Mass Communication, Advertising, Public Relations, and Audience Behavior.

Maritina recently undertook the role of Communication Manager at CLEO. In this position, she leads the center's communication strategy, manages the website and social media channels, creates content for the public and media, promotes research and campaigns, coordinates events, and monitors public engagement.

Her previous professional experience includes administrative support and organizational tasks, such as working as a Student Assistant in the Financial Office and the Office of Operations at Deree, handling invoicing and tax calculations for clients at an accounting services firm, as well as managing reservations and hospitality at tourist accommodations. This background provides strong skills in administration, event organization, customer service, and secretarial duties.
